Lynnelle Perrine is a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience working with programs to improve healthcare quality and providing hands-on clinical care. She has practiced internal and family medicine and long-term care in diverse settings, including hospitals, physician offices, and nursing homes. Lynn completed her graduate degree in nursing informatics. She is passionate about process redesign and continual quality improvement of healthcare.

At Lantana, Lynn develops standards-based solutions addressing client requirements, conducts research and analysis, and resolves issues to ensure that projects align with client expectations. She supports digital quality measure (dQM) development for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) and provides documentation support for the NHSN healthcare-associated infection (HAI) measures used in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting program. Her primary goal is to optimize healthcare delivery through efficient and effective information management.

Lynn has a graduate degree in nursing informatics and is a member of the Nursing Knowledge Big Data Science (NKBDS) Knowledge Modeling & Encoding Workgroup. She is also a member of the HIMSS Iowa Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau, the American Nurses Association, the Iowa Nurses Association, and the LOINC Nursing Committee.
