BPWP Background Image

Certified B Corporations share a commitment to high standards for social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. These organizations envision an economy that is inclusive, equitable and regenerative. Today, there are more than 6,300 B Corps in over 80 countries, across 150 industries. We are proud to be among them.

Lantana’s vision is to see health information available across the spectrum of care, supporting safe, equitable, effective, and affordable healthcare that improves well-being, public health, quality of care, and research. Our B Corp certification demonstrates an on-going commitment to considering all stakeholders when making strategic decisions and implementing best practices. We, along with other B Corps, strive to inspire other companies to do the same.

“The B Corp Assessment ensures that companies are held to the highest standards in each of the five impact areas measured: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. Scoring highest in the workers category reflects our strong commitment to our employees, having transitioned to a 100% employee-owned company in December 2022. As a B Corp, Lantana will continue to measure success by not only our profits, but by our impact on our staff, our local communities, and the environment as a whole.”

— Eric Nystrom, Lantana Chief Financial Officer.

Lantana Consulting Group’s successful B Corp recertification reaffirms our commitment to people, planet, and meaningful healthcare transformation.

Our Commitment

A Compass for How We Work

We are thrilled to share that Lantana Consulting Group has earned B Corp recertification with an overall score of 126.2 out of 200, a significant increase from our 2023 score of 109 and more than double the median score for ordinary businesses.

B Corp certification, awarded by B Lab, measures a company's entire social and environmental impact across governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. For Lantana, it is both an accountability tool and a signal to our clients, partners, and employees that we are serious about balancing profit with purpose.

Continuous Improvement

How We Keep Getting Better

Our recertification score reflects deliberate, sustained action across the company. Key drivers of our improvement include:

Employee Ownership: Our 2022 transition to a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) ensures every team member has a stake in Lantana's success and its values.

greenLantana: Our employee-led sustainability group has driven measurable progress in carbon neutrality, green operations, and environmental awareness across the organization.

Mission-Locked Governance: Our corporate structure formally embeds stakeholder consideration into every strategic decision, not just through our good intentions but through legally-backed accountability.
