Daniel Vargas is a software architect with over 10 years of software development experience. He has experience developing software for the insurance and healthcare industries. He previously developed clinical surveillance software for hospitals and worked to normalize data received from hospitals into the same format enabling clinicians to receive patient alerts and view patient charts, orders, and reports.

At Lantana, Daniel supports the design and development of NHSNLink. He also develops several reference implementations (RIs) in support of the CMS FHIR Strategy project.

Daniel earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in computer information systems from DeVry University and a Master of Information Systems Management (MISM) degree from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
