
Aaron Nusstein
FHIR Analyst
Aaron Nusstein is a data analyst with experience in health information exchange (HIE). He previously worked on integration projects between the Ohio Health Information Partnership (OHIP) and their partners such as eHealth Exchange, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), CareQuality, and Patient Center Data Home (PCDH), which facilitates exchange between HIEs, as well as the many hospital systems through Ohio and neighboring HIEs. He has built interfaces and translates for Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) and HL7 V2 exchange.
At Lantana, Aaron supports the development of FHIR implementation guides (IG) for the CMS FHIR Strategy project including the FHIR-at-Scale Taskforce (FAST) Accelerator. Aaron also provides guidance to clients regarding FHIR data standards.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Miami University.
