Project Director—Quality Measures

Primary purpose: Provide program and project management on a federal government contract. Work with Task Leads and Project Managers to plan and manage work across the program. Serve as point of contact for Lantana Executive Leadership to ensure escalation and resolution of issues and communicate overall program progress. Achieve project objectives and deliverables by driving scope, team, schedule, budget, and quality aspects of a project under Lantana’s high-performance standards. Mentor and develop program staff.

A successful candidate will:

  • Be a task management and tracking expert
  • Communicate effectively with clients, management, and staff
  • Work with project team to develop risks and mitigation strategies
  • Juggle competing demands and prioritize work effectively
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of contract delivery with assistance from Task Leads
  • Develop and adhere to complex timelines
  • Work with Task Leads to ensure subcontractor performance meets Lantana’s quality standards
  • Mentor Project Management and Leads and provide guidance and oversight to their project tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
  • Eight to ten years of experience managing mid- to large-scale projects including government contracts.
  • Experience managing development of clinical quality measures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and perform well in a distributed remote work environment
  • Ability to work within a challenging environment with minimal direction
  • Ability to manage cost, scope, schedule, quality, and technical performance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience submitting clinical quality measures for National Quality Forum (NQF) endorsement
  • Experience with electronic clinical quality measures or digital quality measures
  • Experience managing projects with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
  • Competency with Microsoft Office applications including MS Project and Excel
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (LEAN/Six Sigma/CMMI)
  • Experience with agile scrum and JIRA
