Sr. Technical Writer

Susan Hardy is a technical editor and writer with over 30 years experience documenting software applications and scientific research. She has experience collaborating with users, developers, and researchers preparing clear, accurate documents from user input, technical specifications, and experimental results.

Susan developed and maintains a Lantana Group style guide, which she adapts for each of our projects.

Susan is the technical editor for several CDA implementation guides, including the CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network Healthcare Associated Infection (NHSN HAI) guide, and she helped prepare materials for the CDA Academy.

Past work included basic graphic design, preparing scientific posters, presentations, brochures, and web pages. Susan has also supported the introduction of new systems; created and taught courses on new and existing applications; and planned and coordinated workshops.

  • Familiar with Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), XML, and Template Database for re-use of templated CDA
